Do you believe that there will be a massive end-times revival before the return of the Lord?
All that Yeshua stated concerning the end-times and possible revival, is that “This gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come” (Matthew 24:14, NASU). Knowing that the good news or gospel will be proclaimed to all the world does not necessarily equate to there being a massive end-times revival. All it means is that all will somehow hear the message of salvation. On the contrary to there being some kind of an end-times revival, one of the prerequisites which Paul said must happen before the return of the Messiah, is that there will be a massive apostasy or departure from the faith:
“Let no one in any way deceive you, for it will not come unless the apostasy comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction” (2 Thessalonians 2:3, NASU).
It is likely that in the end-times, many people will truly come to faith in the Lord and/or get themselves right with Him. At the same time, this will also be coupled with a massive apostasy of many people away from the Lord.
