The grand restoration of Israel, and the arrival of God’s Kingdom on Planet Earth, is the whole focus of the Last Days. The seventy-weeks prophecy given to Daniel says that “Seventy weeks have been decreed for your people and your holy city, to finish the transgression, to make an end of sin, to make atonement for iniquity, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy and to anoint the most holy place” (Daniel 9:24). I believe that the most important of the things to happen is “eternal righteousness ushered in” (NJPS). Has this happened? Have we seen eternal righteousness fully manifested in the world today?
